I wonder what the story could have been

I wonder how the story could have changed

I wonder how destiny may have changed
I wonder at the bitter hand that fate has played

I know that destiny cannot be altered.
I know that fate cannot be changed.
But, why do I feel that It is my destiny to struggle?
To wrestle with the hand played by fate

I know of my longing and the dread they hold
I know my faith and the path they lead
and I know the destination to which I must reach.
Yet, I wonder Why I still hold hope.

Hope that the times will change
Hope that the fate may change
Hope that the story can change.

I wonder why I hope.
