A Brighter Day

It's one of those days in summer.

Today, the sun shines a little brighter.

The birds chirp a little louder,

And fly a little higher.

I see my dreams growing bigger,

Yet the path seems harder.

Collecting all my wings, I fly

As if I were a bird in the sky,

To paint my blank canvas

With visions of dreams,

To have my share of summer's light,

To enjoy the luminous moments that shines.
